Episode 1: A New Couple Searches for a Home That Reflects Both Their Personalities

Summary: Chris Kemp purchased a two-bedroom townhome in Auburn Hills, Michigan after graduating from college, but now that he and girlfriend Suzanne Harris are moving in together, they've decided they need more room and a home that reflects both of their personalities. Their budget is between $300,000-450,000, and they hope to find a home with at least three or four bedrooms, a kitchen with modern amenities, a formal dining room, a great room, large walk-in closets, a nice sized garage and a backyard.

Summary: Sandra Cordova owns a successful sign company, and her daughter Anna is heading off to college soon but has decided against campus living. Currently, they live in the small community of Lyons, Colorado in a large two-bedroom townhome. They've set their sights on living in the nearby city of Longmont. This active twosome has a long list of must-haves for their new home, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage large enough for Sandra's woodworking materials, car and motorcycle, a large upgraded kitchen and a large living room for their monthly slumber parties. Although the top of their budget is $220,000, Sandra is hoping to find a bargain.

Summary: Jennifer and Mike Heyer live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome in the Twin Cities' suburb of Shakopee, Minnesota. They're bucking the trend with their preference to be even further from the city, so they're looking for a new home in the Burnsville area, about 20 miles south of the Twin Cities. Their goal is to find a rambler with a big kitchen, separate entertaining space, finished basement, hardwood floors and a three-car garage big enough for Mike's landscaping equipment.

Summary: Chad Paddock is a firefighter for the city of Las Vegas, and he will soon wed Diane Valarde, a schoolteacher in Boulder City, Nevada. They hope to find a home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large backyard and a two-car garage. Chad and Diane have enlisted Brenda Caruso of Universal Realty to help them in their search.

Summary: Now that their four daughters have left the nest, John and Denise Pulley find themselves in a five-bedroom home in Huntington Beach, California. They're keen to stay in the area they've called home for twenty years, especially since they love their weekend bike rides by the beach and walks with their puppies at a local park. Along with realtor Marcia Kaufman, they're looking at smaller properties in the area, whether turnkeys or fixer-uppers. They love the rewarding feeling of personalizing a home and making it their own ? but they equally love the idea of kicking back and relaxing at the end of the day. Hopefully, the Pulleys will soon find another happy Huntington Beach home.

Summary: After 17 years of renting in Costa Mesa, California, widowed Diane Canfield, her two sons and her mother are finally going to buy a home. They're looking for a home with a kitchen that's larger than the one in their rental and hopefully has an open floor plan in a living/kitchen/dining area. They's also love a larger backyard with space for outdoor cookouts. With a budget of $550,000 and realtor Casey Lesher on board, they've agreed they're willing to buy a house that needs some improvements to get what they need within their budget.
Episode 9: Las Vegas Newlyweds Look for a Home That They Both Can Call Their Own

Summary: Dave Molnar and Neha Mehta are newlyweds in the Las Vegas Valley with plans to find a home together that they can both call their own. In the meantime, Neha has moved into the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home that Dave purchased in the Henderson area three years ago. Together, with a budget of up to $1 million, they're looking for a similarly sized home in the Anthem area of Las Vegas and hope to find a large kitchen, a grand stairwell, a large, flat backyard and separate his-and-hers bathrooms.
