Episode 1: Up-sizing

Summary: Kate and Kevin live in a very small rental unit in Beaverton, Oregon, about 35 minutes outside of Portland. Kate is a social worker, and Kevin is a lawyer just beginning to build his practice. They live in a small rental unit with one bedroom where the couple's bed hardly fits, and one living room with a small dining area that they use as an office. There is no backyard, and they really would like to get a dog, but they would need an outdoor area for that. Because of the limited space, they have to use the one table they have to house their computers — it serves as a makeshift office for Kevin's burgeoning law practice. With no table, they have to eat their meals on the couch. They really need a bigger place.
Episode 2: First Home

Summary: Cathy and Michael Roddy and family (daughter Jessica, 6, and Ellie, 8, plus dogs Jasmine and Bella and hamster Princess) live in Ocoee, Florida, and need to upgrade into a bigger house. They want it to be new and improved and more organized. The wish list for their new house - a separate and bigger office for Michael, an office area for Cathy, a kitchen with granite countertops, a bigger garage (three-car, if possible) a pool for the girls, and a backyard for the dogs and the kids. They want to stay in Ocoee or nearby Winter Garden.

Chicago is a little overwhelming for them with the traffic, parking, crowds, etc., so they are looking to move to the suburbs of Milwaukee.

Summary: The Nye family has lived all over the country, as dad Peter's job as regional sales director for a major company has caused them to make several moves. For the last three years, they've been living in Center Valley, Penn. But now Peter is being transferred again, this time to Alpharetta, Georgia. The upside is that the Nyes will be moving to the same city as Peter's family. The downside is that even though they have up to $800,000 to find a new place, homes in Alpharetta are more expensive than they thought.

Summary: Salsa dancers Stacy Fahrion and Dagiadi Rebolledo are tired of their rental just outside of Denver, Colorado. When they're not cha-cha-ing through downtown Denver, Stacy spends her days as a personal trainer, yoga instructor and piano teacher, while Dagiadi is a student and works at a restaurant. At the moment, the couple's current residence is an 800-square-foot, two-bedroom home. With a budget of $150,000 to $185,000, they are looking to find a three-bedroom home around 1,800 square feet and in turnkey condition. Real estate agent Caryn Schmidt is up for the challenge, but will these first-time buyers have to sacrifice some salsa-time to meet their living needs?

Summary: Chase DeLuca, an enterprising 24-year-old, makes his living as a computer consultant, but his real passion is music. He has enjoyed his folks' hospitality, but at 24, he really feels it's time to leave the nest. He has a budget in the $500,000 to $600,000 range. Because he hopes to have several roommates to help with the mortgage, he hopes to get at least four bedrooms, three baths and 2,000 square feet. Also on the wish list is a kitchen big enough to accommodate two refrigerators, one for him and a backup for his hungry 20-something pals. To make his search hum along, he's turning to friend and realtor Brock Harris. Will Chase's search end on a high note or fall flat?

They, along with their dog Theo, have enjoyed their apartment thoroughly, however, this couple is ready for a house. They are hoping to find a home with 1,800-1,900 square feet, with three to four bedrooms and two full baths. They are currently hoping to stay under $485,000, and they are concentrating their search in the neighborhoods of Columbia City, Green Lake, and Mount Baker. Assisting them on their search is Realtor (and former Miss USA contestant and NFL cheerleader!) Staci Baldwin. Will she be able to find Thomas and Karen the home of their dreams reasonably close to their budget? Or is this couple doomed to be squeezed out of their current space by an oversized coffee table?
