Summary: Klovn is a Danish sitcom, which first aired on the Danish TV channel TV2 Zulu. It focuses on the life of the main character Frank and Casper. The show builds its comedy around quiet everyday situations, social awkwardness, uncomfortable silences and general faux pas.
Klovn usually gets compared to the American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm by Larry David. It’s also shot handheld, in a pseudo-realistic style. Some have also mistakenly compared the theme to Curb Your Enthusiasm’s, despite it being a direct reference to Jacques Tati’s Mr. Hulot movies. The poster for the first film can be seen in Casper and Frank’s offices throughout the series. Klovn initially ran 6 seasons on TV2 Zulu from 2005-2009 and was renewed with an additional 3 seasons that aired from 2018-2022.

Episode 1: The Muslim Piano

Summary: Frank and Mia want to buy a used piano. When Frank finds out that the seller is a Muslim, he takes over the negotiations. That kind of requires a man. Casper and his new wife Lene are coming to dinner. Mia is not entirely sure about that. Casper and Lene are so wild and they themselves are so boring. Frank does not think they have any reason to be ashamed of anything. Their relationship is far better than Lene and Caspers. It's real, solid and most importantly - they know each other.
Episode 2: Baked Alaska

Summary: Frank is looking for admission to the 'Mountain Lions' cycling team. Erik Clausen is the team's grand old man, but is seriously awkward. Frank does everything he can to live up to the requirements. But along the way, he finds himself in very unfortunate situations, which endangers his membership of 'Montain Lions' and excites the parents at his son's school violently.

Summary: Frank is on a quest for revenge after Mia has been humiliated by Per Pallesen in her tea salon. Lene is visited by a good old Norwegian friend, who drives Casper crazy with wild macho stories from Norway. Always wilder than anything Casper himself has experienced.

Summary: There is dissatisfaction in the neighborhood with the rude but good butcher Lund. So when Frank by detours gets a 'service for good' in the criminal environment, he decides to give Butcher Lund a lesson. Casper has invented the best infidelity trick of the century - a 'candy fox'. However, they both completely lose control of what they have set in motion.

Summary: Frank receives the sad news that a good friend has died. It's a horrible chest freezer accident. When Frank finds out that the chest freezer is later put up for sale, he becomes furious and decides to put things in order. At the same time, Frank finds that grief is the best excuse for not doing something.

Summary: Mia is very impressed with the lifestyle experts in 'Do You Know the Type'. That's annoying Frank. It requires no special abilities, he believes. For a dinner at Casper's, Frank gets the opportunity to 'battle' with a real expert - and things develop.

Summary: Casper is looking for a so-called 'effort gift' for Lene, which involves high-risk behavior. And Frank ends up in a bitter neighbor dispute with two newly arrived women on the road. Who is most offended? The person who pees or the person who looks at the person who pees?

Summary: Frank and Mia are inspired to try a threesome. An experienced Casper convinces Frank that it must be with a man the first time. That's the trickiest thing. But the triangle dream soon meets reality, practical problems pile up, and suddenly pastry chef Mette Blomsterberg is the decisive piece in the triangle puzzle.
