Summary: Asia's Next Top Model is a reality television show of Top Model Franchise, in which a number of women compete for the title of Asia's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The show will feature aspiring models from the entire Far East region, including South Asia subcontinent.
The show was initially set to launch in mid-2012 on Ice-TV, after a deal was arranged with CBS for a Pan-Asian version. The casting process began in March 28, 2012 and was scheduled to end on May 5 of the same year. Later, the deadline was extended to May 21. The show was produced in Singapore.
On April 11, it was publicly revealed that Nadya Hutagalung would take on the role of Head Judge and Host of the series. Fashion Director, Daniel Boey, Fashion Photographer, Todd Anthony Tyler, and model, Joey Mead King took secondary roles as judges. Around early October, STAR World and Channel 8 introduced the 14 finalists for season one, from 13 countries in South, Southeast and East Asia. The show was initially scheduled to premiere on November 4, 2012. However, the global premiere on STAR World was pushed back to November 25 due to monetary problems. The winner of the first cycle was 27 year old Jessica Amornkuldilok from Thailand.

Summary: The girls faced their first catwalk challenge at Wisma Atria's Asian Extravaganza runway show, where they were tasked to model the clothes from Young Asian Designers. Find out which contestant shines through and walks away with a $5000 Shopping Voucher from Wisma Atria. At Little India, the contestants must remain focused as they shoot in a public space.

Summary: At the Model Manor, mentors Joey Mead and Adam Williams gave the contestants a catwalk coaching lesson on 4 key walks - chic, edgy, quirky, elegant. Later, the girls applied what they have learned as they take their turns on the runway, walking alongside professional supermodels. Will they be able to pull off the right walk? In the Harpers Bazaar fashion spread photo shoot, the contestants struggled to stand out from the rest whilst still blending in with the other girls in a group.

Summary: The girls returned from the shocking double elimination only to discover another twist - their sleeping arrangements have been swapped. While some girls were happy with their new roommates, Helena is upset about being paired with Aastha and Sofia, whom she has not been getting along. The contestants headed to a mystery location for a resort chic fashion shoot challenge. As the competition grew more intense, Trang and Melissa found themselves in the bottom two.

Summary: In this episode, Model Mentor Joey introduces the girls to celebrity hair stylist Andrea Claire who teaches the girls about caring for and styling their hair. At the end of the lesson Joey reveals their two challenges: The girls must write their own viral video campaign for TRESemme and participate in a hair beauty photo-shoot.

Summary: This week, International Makeup Artist Karen Yee teaches the girls how to create an edgy look with cats-eyes and taupe-colored contours, which is becoming the latest makeup trend. The pressure is on when the girls are tasked to recreate the latest Zac Posen 2013 runway look in 15 minutes. Who pulls off the best look? An exciting experience awaits the contestants in a nature-inspired photo shoot that aims to embody the vision of World Wide Fund for Nature. Summary: Ready for an etiquette, poise and deportment lesson? In this episode, the girls learn how to behave during social functions, from the way of sitting, to handling interviews to eating. The girls later arrive at a VIP red carpet event, wearing exquisitely designed Farah Khan dresses, putting what they have learnt into practice.

Summary: The girls return from a surprising non-elimination week, but Stephanie and Sofia, both of whom were in the bottom 2, are struggling to keep their spirits up. Kate and Jessica decide to lighten the mood in the house by spontaneously jumping into the pool and dragging Aastha and Stephanie in as well. Little did they know that water is Aastha’s and Stephanie’s worst fear. In the episode challenge, the girls have to come up with a storyline for a Playboy VIP for Her Fragrance commercial, get themselves styled and act in that TVC. Find out which creative contestant best encapsulated the brand image through their fantasy. In an underwater photo-shoot challenge, the girls attempt to evoke the grace of a couture mermaid.

Summary: The girls return from elimination. Kate and Sofia are surprised Helena went home especially since she was given 15 minutes extra in the shoot. Nonetheless they are happy Helena is no longer in the competition but Stephanie and Aastha miss her and feel like she was misunderstood by the other girls. Since Helena went home Stephanie vows to do better and not be in the bottom two any more. The girls wonder how they can knock Jessica off the top spot now that she has won best photo three times in a row.

Summary: The competition has been an amazing run. This episode highlights all the runway shows, fierce high-fashion photo shoots, elimination breakdowns, plus all the intriguing never-before-seen footage. Summary: The final 4 girls come home after elimination and Stephanie is determined to put up a fight after the 3rd time being in the bottom 2. Aastha's farewell note mentions that Kate is annoying, which Sofia agrees with, upsetting Kate. The girls were sent off to Asia's fashion capital, Hong Kong, with a challenge to stand out from the rest of the pack in 5 different castings. Find out which girl booked the most jobs.

Summary: Stephanie survives being in the bottom 2 yet again. And despite being the underdog, she’s determined to give it her all and prove that she belongs in the top 3. Meanwhile, Jessica starts to isolate herself from the other girls as she feels that she could have given Kate an advantage when she gave Kate tips on improving her poses back in Hong Kong. The girls return to Singapore and move into a new model house. Their first Nadya mail at this new house reveals that the next challenge - a shoot for a Canon IXUS camera commercial.
