Summary: Experienced car dealer Mike Brewer is joined by multi-talented mechanics in a monumental motoring mission: to find and restore iconic cars to later sell for a profit at their LA-based shop. In the series, Mike has the challenging job of finding vehicles that have money-making potential. He then hands them over to a mechanic, who tackles everything from bare metal re-sprays to gearbox swaps to bring them back to their former glory.

Episode 1: Jensen Interceptor

Summary: Mike Brewer and Edd China go in search of a Classic Jensen Interceptor from the 1970s. This classic handmade GT cruiser was mentioned alongside Bentley and Aston Martin. At launch, it cost as much as a house, but Mike wants to find a car for £5000 or less.

Summary: A glorious piece of 60s styling, the P1800 is the most surprising Volvo you will ever encounter. Mike snaps up a rust free example. But underneath the gorgeous looks there are a number of mechanical issues Edd needs to sort. He’ll have his work cut out to keep costs down on this one.

Summary: Mike finds a rough looking 88/89 Defender. Ed replaces the camshaft with an aftermarket performance replacement, giving an extra 20 BHP, the doors are replaced and windows are fitted to the rear. Chunky wheels are fitted and a new steering wheel, amongst other things.

Summary: Mike and Edd embark on their most adventurous project yet: to buy and restore a 1960s Lotus Elan. Extremely successful when new and still highly desirable, the Elan is expensive to buy and work on. Will this be a step too far for the Wheeler Dealers duo?
