Summary: Meg and Matt are giving their relationship a second chance. What could go wrong?
Everyone's searching for a soulmate. But Trying Again's Meg and Matt already know they're meant to be together. There's just one minor hitch - Meg had an affair at work six months ago and everything blew apart. Now they're trying to fit it all back together again. Set in Kendal in the Lake District, Trying Again is a comedy drama about trying to mend a relationship after an affair. It's about friendships and love and all the problems those things bring.

Summary: After Meg's affair, her and her partner Matt are trying to give their relationship another go. However Meg's benefits are about to be cut off and the only job opportunity she has is to go back to the surgery receptionist job and work under Iain again. She knows this will be a problem if Matt finds out as Iain is the guy she had the affair with. Matt as problems of his own at home as the estate agent keeps walking in on him showing around their house at the most inopportune of times.

Summary: Meg and Gail manage to convince Matt into playing along with them as they try and scare away potential home owners to buy them some more time in their home. At work Matt is robbed and without a visual CCTV recording, Sam thinks he has a plan to make sure his co-worker doesn't feel too emasculated when he tells Meg what has happened.
