Summary: The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, which dominates over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie and Jin households. The carefree Wei Wuxian becomes fast friends with the righteous Lan Wangji, and during their adventures, the pair find out that the head of the Wen clan is the evil mastermind behind a series of plots that would wreak havoc upon the lands. Wei Wuxian’s attempts to protect the innocent members of the Wen clan from unfair persecution leads to disaster, and he goes MIA in the process. Wei Wuxian reappears sixteen years later, and works together with good friend Lan Wangji to solve a series of murder mysteries, eventually finding and defeating the true culprit. Summary: Yilin Patriarch Wei Wuxian died in the battle with three biggest clans happened in No Night City. After 16 years later, Mo Xuanyu from Mo residence sacrifices himself and bring Wei Wuxian back to get revenge for him. The same day, juniors from Gusu Lan Sect came to Mo residence to solve some trouble. When Wei Wuxian is awake, he found out juniors can't handle it, so, he tries to help them.

There, they learned that they have to go to Qishan Wen Sect to learn some manners. After a few days, Wen Chao from Qishan Wen Sect attacks Qinghe Nie Sect.

Summary: When Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng are on a boat, they meet with Jiang Fengmian who came back. They told him everything. Then Jiang Fengmian ties Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli and let them go far away from home. As for him, he goes back to Yunmeng Jiang Sect to save his wife. On that night, Yunmeng Jiang Sect is completely destroyed by Qishan Wen Sect. From now on, Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli have to depend on themselves. On the run, while Wei Wuxian goes outside to buy foods, Jiang Cheng gets out. By the time Wei Wuxian is back, he finds out Jiang Cheng has been captured by Qishan Wen Sect. So, he goes to Yunmeng Jiang Sect to save Jiang Cheng.

Later, he finds a way to get Jiang Cheng back on the track.
