Summary: Family Business was an American reality TV series produced for the cable network Showtime. Based in Los Angeles, the series focused on the pornography industry and the life of Adam Glasser, a reality porn star and video director who uses the stage name "Seymore Butts". Also featured on the series were his son, Brady, along with his mother, Lila Glasser, and his older cousin, Stevie Glasser, both of whom help Adam run the eponymous "family business" of the series, which in this case is a successful porn video production and distribution house in the San Fernando Valley, known for the "Seymore Butts" line of videos.
The series first aired in 2003. In Canada it is broadcast on The Movie Network, Movie Central, and Showcase Television, in the UK on Channel 4, and in Latin America on FX. The first two seasons are currently available on DVD in North America. The series ran for four seasons.
The series won the 2005 AVN award for 'Best Alternative Release'.

Summary: Lila (Seymore/Adam's mom) prepares for Rosh Hashana and the entire family is expected to arrive. Adam reveals the secret he has been keeping of his new relationship with his ex-assistant Mirna (or does he?). Is Mirna the porn star, the girl that Mom has been hoping for ?

Summary: Adam's and Mirna's relationship has gone on long enough to hit that phase of needing to talk. Imagine that? They are working on maintaining their relationship by keeping the lines of communication open and outlining what is important to each of them.

Summary: Adam's male performers are having trouble living UP to expectations, so it's time for new talent. However, unlike the girls, the guys can't just ""pretend"" to be uhh, stand up guys, so the search is on for the next male porn star. Meanwhile, Stevie finds a new (potential) actress for his ""Pussy Party"" series. Is he really so bold (or so naive?) in having her move in with him AND his wife?

Summary: Lila is again apparently the ""village"" it takes to raise a child as she stays with Brady while Adam is off. He's in Chicago to take care of the Family Business in the area he always excels at - the press and public speaking. Cousin Stevie and Bishop are lost and in trouble...in Berlin!
Episode 10: Real ASState
Air Date: May 28th, 2005
Summary: Say it isn't so! Over so soon (the season). How appropriate that the lease on Adam's house is about to expire. So, both Stevie and mom help him consider the possibility of making his first home purchase, which promises to be even more complicated than with anyone else.
