Summary: Clifford's Puppy Days is a short-lived animated children's television series that originally aired on PBS Kids from 15 September 2003 to 13 October 2004. A spin-off of the original Clifford the Big Red Dog, it is set before the original series, and features the adventures of Clifford during his puppy days before he grew.
The series was cancelled in 2004 following low ratings. Reruns aired regularly following the cancellation, though they were halted in 2006. Since then, occasional reruns continue to air.
In the UK the show aired on CBeebies.

Summary: When their rather large new playmate, Bruno, plays a little rough, Clifford and Jorge start avoiding him. But then they realize how much they've hurt his feelings and decide to tell him the truth. The kids start a neighborhood newspaper.

Summary: Jorge digs up a shark-tooth necklace in the courtyard and can't understand why it is then returned to its owner. Since he found it, doesn't he get to keep it? Nina and Jorge become celebrities when they get their picture in the paper, then start acting differently and alienating their friends.

Summary: Clifford and Jorge get a little overzealous while trying to help EE and Nina win a sand castle contest, and EE has to explain that the object really is to have fun. Summary: The kids decide to turn a vacant lot into a city garden and discover that a little cooperation helps the project go much more smoothly. Jenny replants a broken willow branch so that it can grow into a new tree, and the dogs decide to try the same thing with some parts of broken toys.

Summary: Daffodil's stuffed bunny is missing, and Daffodil blames Clifford. Then Bubbles turns up in her toy basket, and Daffodil has to admit her own carelessness. Summary: Clfiford pays a visit to the laundry room and agrees to play with one of the Sidarsky children --- Lewis. The little mouse is happy to have someone to play with out, as he's often left out of the fun and games among his older siblings. However, he begins to feel left out again when Clifford goes off to play a game with Flo, Zo and Jorge.

Summary: Evan has a new magic kit and he brings it over when he comes to babysit Emily Elizabeth. Emily Elizabeth invites over Nina and when she goes to greet her, Evan practices a trick to make Clifford disappear. It's only a trick, but it seems that Clifford is nowhere to be found, Evan worries that he really did make him disappear.
Episode 19: The Big, Big Present

Summary: Flo and Zo are excited about opening a big, big present for Hanukah. Clifford pays a visit to their festivities and they play some fun Hanukah games. All the play, however, causes Mr. Solomon's menorah to be broken. While he goes in search of a new one, Clifford, Flo and Zo try to figure out how to repair the old one.

Summary: Zo loves Hanukah, but is annoyed by having to wait night after night for eight days to get new presents. Temptation gets the better of him and he opens them all. At first he has no problem with it, but then becomes depressed because there are no surprises left. Flo shows what a great sister she is by helping Zo out.

Summary: Clifford doesn't even realize it's Valentine's Day until Norville tells him. Norville notes that he's seen Jorge, Flo and Zo and Evan all giving Valentine's Day gifts and he's even working on a necklace for his Mom. Clifford decides to make a gift for Emily Elizabeth, but Daffodil sees what he's doing and makes an even fancier gift. Pretty soon, it's an all-out competition to see who can give Emily Elizabeth the better gift.
Episode 28: Sweethearts Dance

Summary: Valentine's Day brings with it the school Sweethearts Dance. Emily Elizabeth is excited about attending for the first time (and dancing with her father), but soon becomes nervous. Her best friends all know fancy dances, but she doesn't know how to dance at all. She considers skipping the dance when she isn't helped much by a book she checks out from the library on dancing.
