Summary: Gabbi Luck is an ex-criminology professor whose personal luck hits a snag after reuniting with a former associate and Dean of Criminology at Whitmore College. She's there as a guest lecturer, but when the Dean is found dead the very next morning, class is abruptly canceled and an investigation quickly begins.

Naturally, Kimberly turns to Gabbi for help. There are few leads and it's initially presumed that this was a simple burglary gone wrong. As usual, all is not as it seems to be.
