Summary: The Resistance lead an attack on a Visitor processing plant, but are soundly beaten by the Visitors. They decide that their current tactics aren't effective, they need an event that will wake up the world to help them defeat the Visitors.

Summary: Donovan is reunited with his son and joins the international Resistance headed by Ham Tyler and Chris Farber. The first priority is freeing Julie who has been captured and is being held in the visitor mother ship. Meanwhile, Robin who is pregnant by a Visitor goes into labor.

Summary: Donovan turns himself over to the aliens in order to save his son. Diana hears her colleagues are plotting against her. She tells her leader that only she can succeed because of a spy she has in the Resistance. Willie, a friendly alien, submits to tests so Julie can develop a biological weapon against the Visitors. The weapon, a red dust, is then used against the Visitors with much success.

Summary: After three peace ambassadors are murdered, Erica goes hunting for a radical faction of the Fifth Column, and its leader Eli Cohn. Elsewhere, Anna travels to Vatican City, to convince religious leaders that she can be trusted. Also, Tyler vandalizes Jack's church, and Erica's bosses begin to suspect she has ties to the Fifth Column.

Summary: Anna reveals another "gift" to humanity, a network of technologically advanced complexes called Concordia. Of course, her real purposes for them are anything but friendly. The Fifth Column decides that the grand-opening gala would be the perfect time for an assassination attempt on Anna. Also, Jack is disciplined by the church, Tyler receives dueling offers, and Ryan is conflicted.

Summary: Anna is furious after the attempt on her life, and sends Ryan to kill Fifth Column leader Eli Cohn. However, Ryan is captured, and Anna has an anonymous tip sent to the FBI that causes a law enforcement siege on the Fifth Column HQ, with Erica still inside. Also, Hobbes makes a bad choice, Lisa finally meets her grandmother Diana, Jack is kicked out of the church, and Erica sustains a devastating loss.

Summary: Erica's status as the new head of the Fifth Column is tested, as the existing members don't trust her. She later travels to Hong Kong with Hobbes, to confront the V doctor that altered Tyler's genetics in the womb. This leads to evidence that the Visitors real mission is to accelerate their own evolution using human DNA. Elsewhere, Anna's plans for Tyler hit a snag, Lisa and Diana grow closer, and the experiments on Ryan's daughter continue.

Summary: Erica is now in full control of the Fifth Column, and decides to launch a risky biological attack against Anna. Ryan attempts to rescue his daughter from the mothership, but while there is reunited with his former queen Diana. Lisa tries to convince Marcus to unite with her and Diana. Jack grows concerned over Erica's increasing disregard for casualties.

Summary: Anna prepares to activate the first Blue Energy reactor, but the Fifth Column quickly learns that it will do much more than power Concordia. Diana tries to convince Marcus to work against Anna, while Anna begins to develop stronger human emotion, much to her chagrin. As multiple cloaked V ships approach Earth, Anna seeks a way to use her "bliss" to control the minds of humanity.

Summary: Erica and the Fifth Column team up with Lisa and Diana to assassinate Anna, but things go horribly wrong in just about every respect. The Fifth Column sustains multiple casualties, and Anna uses Ryan's daughter to "bliss" the whole world. Humanity's last hope resides in a mysterious cabal known as "Project Aries, who make themselves known to Erica.
