Investigators discover that heavy winds struck the plane and the crash helps to disarm and invisible killer.

Summary: Air Canada Boeing 767 - Air Canada flight 143 On 1983, a brand new Air Canada 767 runs out of fuel at 26,000 feet. The pilots manage to glide the plane to an airfield in Gimli, Manitoba. The aircraft lands hardly, but everyone is alive. Investigators discover that the cause is a simple math error.

Summary: South African Airways Boeing 747 - South African Airways flight 295 On November, 1987 a fire started in the rear cargo area of a Boeing 747 Combi bound for South Africa. The pilots start dealing with the emergency but then the plane plunges to the Indian Ocean, to the east of Mauritius killing 159 people. The source of ignition is unknown even today.

Investigators discover that a Pitot tube was blocked and caused wrong airspeed readings. What blocked the Pitot tube is not ice, dirt, dust or tape, is a wasp nest.

Summary: Eastern Airlines Lockheed L-1011 TriStar - Eastern Airlines flight 401 On December, 1972 a light bell malfunctions on board an Eastern Airlines brand new jumbo jet, preventing the aircraft to land at Miami. As the crew replaces the light, the plane slowly descends and crashes into the Florida Everglades killing 100 people. Was a fatal distraction and poor CRM the cause?

Summary: GOL Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-800 / ExcelAir Embraer Legacy - GOL Transportes Aereos flight 1907 / ExcelAir N600XL On 2006, a GOL Boeing 737 collides in mid-air with an Embraer Legacy bussines jet over the Amazon. The passengers aircraft breaks up and crashes, the Legacy is damaged but lands safely. 156 people are dead, making this the deadliest plane crash in Brazil and starting the 2006-2007 Brazil aviation crisis.
