Summary: Britain's best loved fellwalker never travelled abroad but each year for over forty years he undertook a journey north of the border to Scotland. In 1987 WAINWRIGHT invited ERIC ROBSON to join him as he revisited many of his favourite places. During a memorable summer together they travelled from Cape Wrath to the far north on a journey that included the Isle of Skye, the Torridon mountains, Glen Coe, the Cairngorms and many other special places.
